Service Description
Private range sessions are intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience. Students are given personalized on the range instruction to ensure you leave feeling comfortable handling, loading, shooting, unloading, and safe usage of your firearm. In this 1-2 hours of range time, you will receive: - Essential gun safety rules including range safety. - The fundamentals of pistol shooting & marksmanship. - Drawing from concealment. - Reloading under stress. - Self defense drills. - Target transitions. - Shooting Positions. - The most common shooting errors. - Proper handling, loading, & unloading procedures (using dummy rounds in the classroom, then live fire on the range) - Clearing Pistol Stoppages (hands-on using dummy rounds) Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while requirements for you to apply for your concealed handgun permit (CHP) from Virginia as a resident of the state. Along with classroom training, students are given individual on the range instruction to ensure you leave feeling comfortable handling, loading, shooting, unloading, and safe usage of your firearm. In this 3-hour long class, you will receive: - An in-depth discussion on Virginia firearm laws. - A detailed review of Virginia Use of Force & Self Defense laws. - Review of where you can and cannot conceal carry in Virginia. - Essential gun safety rules. - Proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. - Different types of pistols and which one is best for you. - Proper gun cleaning, maintenance, & storage. - Ammunition knowledge and selection. - The most common shooting errors. - How to maintain your skills. - How to Apply for, and maintain, the Virginia Resident Concealed Handgun Permit On the range, you will receive training on: - Range safety. - The fundamentals of pistol shooting & marksmanship. - Shooting Positions - Proper handling, loading, & unloading procedures (using dummy rounds in the classroom, then live fire on the range) - Clearing Pistol Stoppages (hands-on using dummy rounds) - Pistol Shooting Errors Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor. Must be 18 years of age or older to attend. PLEASE NOTE: Firearms and live ammunition are NOT permitted in the classroom. Please leave your firearms unloaded and locked in your vehicle. Please plan accordingly.

Clients can cancel their booking up to twelve hours before the start time. Cancellations made after that point may not be accepted. Clients may reschedule their booking at any time before the session begins. Late bookings are allowed up to twelve hours before the start time. Group bookings are limited to four participants unless otherwise approved.
